What a great article. Debit card usage- another trend that recession anxiety has spawned! As a whole health coach, I see much more of the emotional impact of the recession, but it obviously impacts every area of our lives.

These stats have got to be true. It appeared to me that we'd all been tweeting long before someone named a physical task movement and branded it and Twitter came along. It looked like another side show to occupy what little time we really have in a given day. High profilers twitting...for free? Can't wait to find Edgar Allan Poe on there. Of course, I launched it and the Tweetdeck after getting bored in 2 weeks.

The government plans to suspend its popular "cash for clunkers" program amid concerns it could quickly use up the $1 billion in rebates for new car purchases, congressional officials said Thursday.

The Transportation Department called lawmakers' offices to alert them to the decision to suspend the program at midnight Thursday. The program offers owners of old cars and trucks $3,500 or $4,500 toward a new, more fuel-efficient vehicle.
